Why is interior tanker cleaning necessary?
Residues from the previous cargo can affect the quality of the next one. Proper interior cleaning reduces the risk of contamination, protects your product and is a prerequisite for safe transport and delivery.
Important notice
Each tanker is washed according to its previous cargo and the receiver's requirements. Let us know what you transported so we can choose the right procedure and the appropriate cleaning agent.
The process: Interior Tanker Cleaning Step by Step
1
Step 1: Manway Cleaning
We open and clean the manway and its fittings so we have full access to the inside of the tank.
2
Step 2: Hot Water Rinse
We rinse the interior with pressurised hot water to remove residues of the previous cargo.
3
Step 3: Cleaning Agent Application
We apply the appropriate cleaning agent according to the cargo that was carried and let it act on the inner walls.
4
Step 4: Cold Water Rinse and Valve Cleaning
We rinse with cold water and clean the discharge valve and piping so that no residues remain.
5
Step 5: Tank Air Drying up to 99%
We dry the tank with air, reducing moisture by up to 99%. Less residual moisture means a lower risk of contamination in the next load.
Final Inspection and Washing Certificate
At the end we carry out a final inspection of the tank interior and issue a washing certificate for every tanker.
